DON'T FOEGET:

Upper Barrakka Gardens

Upper Barrakka Gardens are public gardens. The garden's terraced arches were built in 1661 by the Italian knight Fra Flaminio Balbiani.

Roman house Domus

The Roman Domus is a ruined Roman-era house located on the boundary between Mdina and Rbat. The house had a colonnaded peristyle inspired by ancient Greek architecture.

The cave of Sant Paul

The lower reaches of the caves are accessed by quite steep steps and the tunnels become a little tight, narrow and dark, so if you are a little claustrophobic, perhaps this attraction is not for you.

The Blue Grotto

It’s a serie of six submarin caves situated to the foot of the clifft.

Gozo

It’s an island with deep valleys, cliffs, hills and rural roads. The patrimony of the Gozo is found in the landscape.

Catacombs of Rabat

St.Paul’s Catacombs are a typical complex of interconnected, underground Roman cemeteries that were in use up to the 4th century AD.

OUR TIPS:

It’s important to carry something to cover your body when you visit the churches because they can require you to cover your arms, your chests and your legs. It’s very important to carry sun cream and a cap because the weather is very warm and something for the mosquitos. To move on the island it is better to go on foot but the transport public is very cheap and effective.
