Germany limits to the north with the North Sea, Denmark and the Baltic Sea; to the east with Poland and the Czech Republic; to the south with Austria and Switzerland, and to the west with France, Luxemburg, Belgium and the Netherlands. There are 81.292.400 people in Germany. Germany has a very cold weather with litlle hours of sun and rain. The capital is Berlin and the president is Frank-Walter Steinmeier. This country is very interesting because a lot of scientists, musics and engineers were born there and also because of its beautiful castles and its villages.

Marx-Engels Forum:
It’s a public park in the district of Mitte. Its name is because of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engle, authors of communist manifesto in 1848 and considered the founders of Comunism.

Humboldt University:
It’s the oldest University of Germany and it has served as a model for other universities of Europe and of other western countries.

Deutscher Dom.
Berlin's Deutscher Dom is best known as one of the three buildings which make up the spectacular ensemble in the Gendarmenmarkt square in Mitte including the Französischer Dom and the Konzerthaus. The church isn’t exactly a cathedral because it is not the bishop's headquarters.

Tiergarten:
It’s the principal park of Berlin. It has 210 ha of surface and it’s the largest landscaped park and "green lung" in the center of Berlin. It’s the second largest park in the city after the Grunewald.

Brandenburger Tor:
It’s one of the oldest doors in Berlin and a symbol of Germany. It isn’t an Arch of Triumph but an entrance to the city.

Alexanderplatz:
Alexanderplatz has been considered the center of Berlin since the Middle Ages, when it was considered The brown’s market.
OUR TIPS:
In the summer we can carry the suitcase full of light cotton clothes, but you should get some light sweater for nights and mornings.
They have dinner at 20pm. In restaurants tips are about 5 or 10% of the total price.
Shops are open from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6.30pm. and on Saturdays from 8.30 am to 1 pm, except the first Saturday of each month that they open until 6 pm. They close on Sundays and holidays.
